Exeter man booked on DUI after 17-year-old injured in Three Rivers crash

An Exeter man, 20, was booked on felony DUI charges early Monday after he and his 17-year-old passenger suffered major injuries in a single-car crash near Three Rivers, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The crash took place about 3 a.m. as Clinton Madison, 20, collided with a bridge abutment on South Fork Drive north of Cinnamon Canyon Road, while at the wheel of a 2010 Toyota Corolla.

The CHP said both Madison and his passenger, of Three Rivers, suffered major injuries and were taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center.
