Madera police investigate homicide of transient woman
Madera police are investigating the homicide of a transient woman late Tuesday night in the downtown area of the city.
The spokesman said officers arrived to find the 41-year-old victim, Joanne Otero, in the 200 block of North G Street and attempted to render aid. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Otero had sustained multiple wounds.
Officers have no suspects and asked anyone with information to call police at 559-675-4220.
