Man hospitalized after central Fresno drive-by shooting
A Fresno man was taken to the hospital Monday morning after a drive-by shooting in central Fresno, police reported.
The incident took place in the 3800 block of North Angus Street, according to Capt. Joey Alvarez.
The 21-year-old victim was outside when a white four-door vehicle drove up, and one of the occupants fired a single gunshot, striking the victim in the knee. Alvarez described the wound as a “through-and-through” injury, and the victim was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where he was in stable condition.
The captain said the victim was cooperating with detectives, however, some of the witnesses at the shooting seen were not.
