Reedley police are searching for suspects in a shooting that injured a man in broad daylight.
Officers responded to a report of a person who was shot in the 900 block of E. Springfield Avenue and found a man in his mid-20s who had been shot once in the upper body. Several shots had been fired at him around 1:25 p.m, according to police.
The man’s name was not released, but police said he was taken to a nearby hospital for his injury.
The department released a surveillance photo of a gray Mercedes SUV that may have been involved in the shooting. Witnesses told police they saw a passenger in the SUV exit the vehicle and then fire several shots at the victim.
No arrests had been made as of Saturday morning. Anyone with information is asked to call the Reedley Police Department at 559-637-4250.
