Driver of stolen 1999 Honda Civic arrested in northwest Fresno

Police arrested a man at the wheel of a stolen 1999 Honda Civic taken from a northwest Fresno home.

He was identified as Steven Rexroat, 38, who was booked on auto theft charges and possession of a “shave” key, which is used to facilitate auto thefts, according to Sgt. Doug Goertzen.

Also cited was Isabel Rodriguez, 30, who was in the car and in possession of a meth pipe, according to Goertzen, of the department’s Career Criminal Auto Theft Team.

The car was taken from the area of West Swift and North West avenues.
