Man arrested in robbery of Visalia pizza deliverer
A man suspected of stealing a Visalia pizza deliverer’s car, cash and pizzas has been arrested in Fresno County, Visalia police announced.
Terry Broadus, 18, was arrested Tuesday by the Fresno County Help Eliminate Auto Theft Task Force after he was found in the victim’s car with a stolen gun.
The victim was delivering a pizza near the 1200 block of South Central Street in Visalia at 11 p.m. May 20 when he was approached by Broadus and a second suspect. One of the the robbers pulled out a handgun and demanded his property, police say. The victim was not hurt.
Broadus and the other suspect fled in the victim’s car with several pizzas and money stolen from the victim, police say.
Broadus was booked into the Adult Pretrial Facility in Tulare County on suspicion of carjacking and robbery. The second suspect is still being sought.
