From a drug bust to a big bump, Visalia arrests getting much attention

Eric John Montgomery and Peaches Tsocheff were arrested Wednesday for possession of methamphetamines for sale by the Visalia Police. A search warrant at a Visalia residence led to the seizure of 2 ounces of methamphetamine, and items indicative of the sales of narcotics. Montgomery’s mugshot shows a big bump on his head, though it’s unclear how that was sustained.

Visalia Police arrested a man and a woman Wednesday following a drug bust during a search of a home.

And a mug shot of one of the suspects has caught the attention of many on the internet.

Suspects Eric John Montgomery 39, and Peaches Tsocheff, 41, were booked for possession of methamphetamine for sale.

Visalia Police’s Narcotics Unit — with the assistance of the Special Enforcement Unit and the Tulare Area Regional Gang Enforcement Team, according to a news release — served a search warrant at a residence in the 4300 block of West Myrtle Avenue and seized 2 ounces of methamphetamine and items indicative of the drug sales.

Retail price for methamphetamine ranges from $400 to $3,000 per ounce, according to consumeraffairs.com.

Montgomery’s mugshot, meanwhile, has generated many responses on social media, much because of the noticeable big bump on his forehead.

Visalia police said Wednesday evening that the bump was “not related to the arrest. It is a medical condition.”
