Victim ID’d in Porterville homicide. She was the 31-year-old wife of arrested suspect

A woman who was found dead inside a Porterville home was identified Wednesday as 31-year-old Samantha Lopez.

Her husband, 33-year-old Victor Lopez, has been arrested and faces charges of murder, domestic violence and child endangerment, according to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were called to the home on Tuesday afternoon for a welfare check and discovered Samantha Lopez inside.

Victor Lopez ran from the scene but was quickly found and arrested, the sheriff’s office said.
