Bitwise hosts daylong cybersecurity summit. See how you can watch livestream sessions

Fresno police in cooperation with Bitwise Industries are hosting the Cybersecurity Summit on Wednesday.

Experts from police, Secret Service, FBI and the private sector are speaking on the topic as it relates to agriculture, health care, construction, education and more. They’ll be talking about threats including counterfeiting scams, identity theft and ransomware.

Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer kicked off the summit Wednesday morning with an introduction, noting the prevalence of cybercrime: his department’s financial crimes unit handles about 300 cases a month.
