Tulare County man sentenced for molesting girl between the age of 9 and 13
A Tulare County man was sentenced to 48 years in prison for molesting a girl when she was between the age of 9 and 13, the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office reported Monday.
Roger Lee Hepner, 38, of Strathmore was sentenced Wednesday in the Visalia division of Tulare County Superior Court.
Hepner pleaded no contest last month to four counts of forcible sexual penetration of a child under the age of 14. Each count is a felony and considered a strike offense. The crimes occurred between January 2012 and January 2017.
Hepner will also be required to register as a sex offender for the remainder of his life.
