She sold meth and assault rifles on the roadside. Now, she’s prison-bound
A Lemoore woman on Tuesday pleaded guilty in federal court to distributing methamphetamine and selling assault rifles.
Nancy Lopez Perez faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison and a possible $10 million fine, according to Lauren Horwood, a spokesman for U.S. Attorney McGregor Scott.
Perez is scheduled to be sentenced Feb. 4.
Perez delivered meth and two assault rifles during a roadside transaction on a rural Fresno County road. Three additional firearms were seized during a follow-up search. As a convicted felon, Perez was banned from possessing firearms.
