An Woodville father was arrested for allegedly threatening to “shoot up” his child’s elementary school, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office reported Thursday.
Casey Crisler, 37, was arrested for alleged threats made against Woodville Elementary School in Woodville, west of Porterville.
Deputies arrived at the elementary school Wednesday after a receiving a report that Crisler threatened the school. Woodville Elementary was locked down. Detectives said they later discovered the threat was made within the past month but still believed it to be credible.
Crisler agreed to meet with detectives and was arrested in Porterville on Wednesday.

The sheriff’s office said it has “zero tolerance for any threats of violence against schools.”
