13-year-old girl stabs 15-year-old in the back, police say
An argument between two teenage girls ended Saturday in Visalia when a 13-year-old girl stabbed a 15-year-old girl, according to police.
The teenagers were arguing in the 1600 block of South Bardo Street around 6:17 p.m., when the 13-year-old stabbed the 15-year-old in the back in with an unknown object. The 13-year-old then left the scene on foot, police said in a news release.
Investigators did not comment on the nature of the argument.
The 15-year-old was taken to the hospital. She is expected to make a full recovery.
Police later arrested the 13-year-old at her home and she was booked into juvenile hall on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
