Fresno police arrest man on charges of sex assault on child
Fresno police Tuesday arrested a man on charges of sexual assault of a child under 14.
Sgt. Daniel Macias identified the man as Luis Alvarado-Herrera, 30. Macias said he could not release more details about the arrest in order to protect the child.
According to Fresno County Jail records, Alvarado-Leon is being held on $250,000 bail and the federal Department of Immigration and Naturalization Services has placed a hold on his release from jail.
