Central Fresno 7-Eleven store robbed; two suspects sought
Two men who robbed a convenience store and two customers early Friday in central Fresno are sought by police.
The robbery took place at a 7-Eleven about 2:17 a.m. at Fruit and Clinton avenues. Lt. Joe Gomez said one of the suspects brandished a revolver at the clerk and took money, cigarettes and Swisher Sweets cigars.
The second suspect ordered the customers to hand over property, taking a wallet from one and two cell phones from the other.
The bandits left on foot, heading north on Fruit.
Both bandits were described as Hispanic. One was 6-feet and thin and the second was 5-feet, 7-inches and heavy-set with a goatee.
