Police arrest man in Dinuba orchard homicide
Hernan Rodriguez, 24, of Reedley, was arrested on suspicion of homicide in a shooting at an orchard that left one man dead and two injured, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department said Thursday.
Rodriguez was detained shortly after officers arrived in the area.
The shooting occurred about 9:45 a.m. at a orchard in the area of Road 74 and Avenue 400 near Dinuba. A farm labor work crew was working in the orchard.
The name of the victim has not been released. He was dead at the scene, and the two victims were taken to local hospitals, authorities said. Their conditions have not been made public.
