Hanford man faces life term for sexual assault of 9-year-old

A Hanford man was convicted of multiple sexual assaults involving a 9-year-old child, the Kings County District Attorney’s Office reported Wednesday.

In the trial, which lasted six days, Fernando Ramirez Perez, 40, also was found to have inflicted great bodily injury on the victim. He faces the possibility of life without parole. Sentencing is set for June 4.
