Authorities find Orosi man wanted for questioning in abduction, death
A man who Tulare County authorities said is a person of interest in the disappearance and death of a Florida man has been located and questioned, but he is not under arrest, the Tulare County Sheriff's Department said.
Ulises Jimenez, 28, Orosi was located Monday after the sheriff's department issued a bulletin asking for the public's help in finding him.
Friday afternoon, a vehicle was pulled out of the Friant-Kern Canal. A body in the vehicle was identified as Omar Bogle, 31, of Miami, Florida. The case is being investigated as a homicide.
The sheriff's department said he may have been abducted in the Cutler-Orosi area on May 6.
He last seen getting into a Chrysler PT Cruiser occupied by Jimenez and three men of Jamaican descent, according to a witness, the sheriff's department said. Bogle may have been forced to go with the men.
The other men are also being sought, the sheriff's department said.
