Four hurt in Visalia car crash

Four people were injured in a two-car collision in Visalia Sunday afternoon, police said.

The accident occurred near Noble Avenue and Giddings Street just before 4 p.m.

Daniel Hanson, 24, was driving a Honda Civic east on Noble Avenue when it collided with a Volvo driven by Matthew Maxson, 30.

Hanson sustained serious injuries. His two passengers, Edward Montemayor, 39, and a 15-year-old boy were also injured. The boy sustained significant head injuries and Montemayor sustained moderate injuries.

Maxson sustained significant injuries to his upper body and head.

All four were taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center and are in stable condition, police said.
