Tulare County Sheriff’s deputies managed to nab a man on their Ten Most Wanted list on Saturday, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies were at a home on the 8000 block of Road 32 in Pixley for an unrelated incident around 1:45 p.m., when someone told deputies that a man ran from a property when he saw deputies arriving.

After checking out the area, deputies saw Miguel Caraves, 40, attempting to flee, the sheriff’s office said. Caraves allegedly fled through several properties as deputies chased him.

He tried stealing an ATV from a girl, but was unsuccessful, the sheriff’s office said. He continued running until a taser was used to stop him.

Caraves, from Earlimart, was taken into custody without further incident.

His warrants include domestic violence, restraining order and probation violations, being a felon in possession of ammunition and resisting arrest, according to the sheriff’s office.
