Fresno police are investigating a hit-and-run crash reported just before 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Clinton and Cedar avenues, not far from McLane High.

Police believe a blue Ford Explorer traveling eastbound on Clinton Avenue traveled through a red light and crashed into a white Toyota, with one occupant, traveling northbound on Cedar Avenue. The Explorer flipped over, and after the crash its two male occupants fled the scene on foot, according to Lt. Jennifer Horseford.

The occupant of the Toyota was not hurt. Police said they were talking with persons of interest in the case, but it’s still unknown whether they are connected with the crash.
