Police arrest man in Harlan Ranch vehicle burglaries

Clovis police arrested Logan Meeks, 29, in connection with three vehicle burglaries in Harlan Ranch.

Spokesman Ty Wood reported that the arrest took place after officers went to the 3600 block of Vermont Lane about 11 p.m. Monday to investigate reports that power had been shut down at a home in the neighborhood and encountered the vehicle break-ins.

Officers made contact with Meeks, who was on probation, and discovered stolen property at his nearby home.

Wood said officers are investigating the power shut-off at the home of the woman who initiated the police response.
