He shot a man in the back and left him paralyzed. Now he’s guilty of attempted murder
A man who left one person paralyzed in a shooting was found guilty of attempted murder in Fresno County Superior Court on Monday, according to prosecutors.
Brandon Carl Sutter, 30, of Fresno was also found guilty of being a felon in possession of a firearm, using a firearm and causing great bodily injury during the incident.
On Aug. 15, Sutter shot Francisco Martinez in the back with a homemade 12-gauge shotgun. It left Martinez paralyzed from the waist down.
Sutter will be sentenced up to 32 years life in prison on Jan. 18.
