Kings County deputies raid honey oil lab, arrest one
A Kings County man was taken into custody after sheriff’s deputies discovered a butane honey oil lab in the 7100 block of Hanford Armona Road on Friday.
A sheriff’s spokesman said William Franklin Cox was booked on multiple charges, including possession of a firearm and possession of narcotics. The Fresno Meth Task Force helped render the lab safe.
Investigators also determined there marijuana was being grown on the property with 173 plants – more than the number allowed under a Kings County ordinance.
Honey oil labs operate with a danger of explosions and fire, the spokesman noted.
