Detectives trying to solve Fresno’s 45th homicide ask, ‘Do you know who owns this car?’
Police investigating the killing of a 21-year-old Fresno man hope identifying and finding a car possibly linked to the case may help them solve the city’s 45th homicide of the year.
Rahman Newsome died Friday, with police arriving to find him shot and lying in the roadway near Normal Avenue and Mayfair Drive.
There were reports of shots fired just before 7 p.m.
Rahman was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
A gray SUV was seen in the area and investigators are seeking the public’s help in tracking it down.
