Two men get out of a car, and one opens fire
A man was shot about noon Friday in a parking lot in central Fresno in what might have been a robbery, police said.
A man believed to be the shooter has been detained. It’s possible marijuana was involved but that’s being investigated, said Lt. Mark Hudson.
Two men were in a car when both got out of the vehicle, and one opened fire on the other in the parking lot of Fresno Ag Hardware at Gettysburg Avenue and First Street, he said.
The bullet hit the victim’s arm. He was taken to Community Regional Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening.
The investigation is continuing.
