Gunfire erupts in central Fresno, but before police arrive, victims flee
At least two people were injured early Friday after gunfire broke out in central Fresno, said police Lt. David Madrigal.
The large group fled before police arrived to the Blackstone and Dakota area around 3 a.m., and police were only able to get limited witness information.
Two people later showed up at Community Regional Medical Center with gunshot wounds that were not life-threatening, said Madrigal.
Police believe the shooting was gang related.
