Fresno County sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help in finding the suspected killers of a Los Angeles homeless man whose body was found near Coalinga.

Pedro Canisio Boc, 32, was found lying in the weeds near Highway 198 earlier this month. Boc’s body had several gunshot wounds and appeared to have been lying near the highway for several days before being found.

Detectives traveled to Los Angeles to speak to Boc’s family, who said he frequented MacArthur Park in Los Angeles and didn’t have any connection to Fresno County.

Investigators would like to speak to anyone who was in contact with Boc before his death.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Adrian Villegas at 559-600-8210 or Crime Stoppers at 498-7867. Callers may stay anonymous and could win a cash prize.
