A man shot at a central Fresno park Thursday evening was dropped off at a hospital, Fresno police said.

The shooting is believed to have occurred around 6:10 p.m. at Einstein Park on Dakota Avenue near Millbrook Avenue.

A short time later, Fresno police reported that an adult male had been dropped off at Community Regional Medical Center with a gunshot wound. The man was reported to be in stable condition.

Fresno police found the scene of the shooting and the case was under investigation Thursday night.
