He made an illegal turn and was arrested with a handgun

John Graves, 27, was arrested on weapons charges after he made an illegal turn into a closed gas station near Parkway and Belmont avenues early Tuesday, Fresno police reported.

A police spokesman said Graves was driving while unlicensed and was on probation. Officers recovered a Taurus .45 caliber handgun with a high-capacity magazine from a backpack in the SUV Graves was driving. Graves told officers that he found the gun in a park. He was booked into Fresno County Jail.
