Six Fresno women, allegedly part of an organized theft ring, were arrested as they left the Visalia Mall on Thursday afternoon, allegedly with $5,000 worth of stolen property, said the Visalia Police Department.

Police say Brittany Lewis, 27, Ranique Thomas, 24, Kentanique Johnson, 22, Alicia McGrue, 24, Alexis Blue, 24, and Jania Nash, 24, were part of a theft ring that previously stole from Tulare Outlet Mall businesses.

When three of the women entered the Visalia Mall around 2 p.m. on Thursday, security guards informed Visalia police in the parking lot. Security also noticed four other women met up in the mall and they were also monitored. The women allegedly stole from Old Navy, Victoria’s Secret, The Children’s Place, Aeropostale, Crazy 8 and Bath and Body Works.

The seven women were detained as they tried to leave the mall in different vehicles, but only six were arrested, police said.

All six were booked on suspicion of burglary, shoplifting and conspiracy charges.
