A 26-year-old man was found guilty Thursday of molesting an 11-year-old girl in Porterville, the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office said.

Jacob Preciado, 26, of Santa Ynez, was found guilty of two felony counts of lewd acts with a child under 14 with a special allegation of substantial sexual conduct.

The district attorney’s office said between May 1 and May 30, 2011, Preciado sexually assaulted the girl in Porterville.

Sentencing is set for Aug. 31 in Tulare County Superior Court, where Preciado faces 10 years in state prison.

He will also have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
