He was a self-employed barber, loved by his neighbors. Why was he murdered?
The man found shot and unconscious inside his apartment near Fresno State on Wednesday afternoon has died, Fresno police said.
Brajoni Freeman, 32, was found by his ex-girlfriend unconscious and bleeding in his apartment about 12:10 p.m. on Sierra Madre Avenue a half-block south of Fresno State. Homicide detectives were at the scene on Wednesday.
Freeman was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center by ambulance where he was in critical condition. He died Thursday.
Police say Freeman died from a single gunshot wound. He was self-employed as a barber out of his home, and police say he was loved by his neighbors. A motive for the shooting is unknown.
