He committed molestations with prior convictions, now he’s facing 232 years
A Visalia man was sentenced Thursday to 232 years to life in prison for molesting a child younger than 14.
Larry Sul, 64, of Visalia, was sentenced by Tulare County Superior Court Judge Joseph Kalashian after his May jury conviction on two counts of a forcible lewd act upon a child under the age of 14 and four counts of lewd acts upon a child under the age of 14.
The crimes occurred between 2013 and 2015 in Tulare County against a single minor victim, the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office said.
Sul admitted to having two prior strike convictions for assault with a deadly weapon and robbery as well as four prior prison terms.
