He’s charged with sexually abusing kids in his home. Cops say the girls are under 10

Johnny Vega, 24, was arrested Thursday after he allegedly sexually abused two girls, Porterville police said.

A Porterville man was arrested Thursday after allegedly sexual abusing two girls for the past year, Porterville police said.

About 3:30 p.m., detectives arrested Johnny Vega, 24, near the 1300 block of South Jaye Street.

During an interview with detectives, the two victims, who are younger than 10, reported that the sexual abuse incidents occurred at Vega’s home over the past year. The victims’ relationship with Vega is unknown.

Vega was booked at the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office on multiple felony charges and is being held on a $470,000 bail.
