Man wanted in 11-year-old Visalia killing is arrested in Mexico

A man wanted in an 11-year-old Visalia murder has been arrested in Mexico, Visalia police report.

Andres Espindola, 34, was arrested in Colima, Mexico, after being taken into custody by FBI agents.

Espindola is suspected of stabbing Raymond Randle Sr., 40 of Visalia, on Jan. 12, 2006, during a fight in Visalia. Randle was stabbed in the leg and later died at a hospital.

Visalia police said Espindola was identified by witnesses as the suspect, but he fled to Mexico before an arrest warrant was issued.

On Thursday Espindola was arrested in Mexico and was turned over to Visalia detectives at Fresno Yosemite International Airport. He was booked in Tulare County jail.
