Shooting leaves one hurt in southeast Fresno
One person was shot several times Saturday night in southeast Fresno, then rushed to the hospital where police were having trouble finding out what happened.
Officers went to an apartment complex at 5035 E. Lane Avenue, near Willow Avenue, where they found a person described only as a Hispanic male with multiple gunshot wounds, Fresno Lt. Jerardo Chamalbide said.

The victim was taken to Community Regional Medical Center and rushed into surgery. Police were there, but Chamalbide said the person was uncooperative.
There were few details on the person suspected in the shooting, which was in an area near David L. Greenberg Elementary School. He was believed to be wearing a gray shirt, Chamalbide said.
