A parolee ran from a traffic stop, prompting lengthy police search in northeast Fresno
A parolee who ran from a traffic stop caused heated law-enforcement activity in northeast Fresno on Friday night, as officers searched by air and door-to-door for the suspect.
As of 10 p.m., police were still making their way through an area roughly bordered by Cedar, Shepherd and Chance avenues.
Entry into the neighborhood was blocked off, with police on foot and in a helicopter conducting the hunt.
No further information was given, though officers on the scene told The Bee it was dangerous.
