A man selling shoes online was robbed at gunpoint Thursday night when he went to finish a transaction, but the alleged robber was soon captured, Fresno police Sgt. James Fowler said.

Dangelo Webb, 20, is accused of stealing shoes from the man who was selling them on the OfferUp app.

Fowler said Webb pulled the gun when he met up with the victim in the 300 block of West Lexington Avenue, just west of River Park. Webb took the shoes and fled in his vehicle.

Webb was taken into custody without incident Friday and booked into Fresno County Jail.
