Dead body found in orchard in Tulare County

A dead body has been found in an orchard in the small community of London in Tulare County, and the sheriff’s office is investigating the case as a homicide.

At 12:56 a.m. Friday, deputies answered a call about a man down in an orchard at Road 58 and Avenue 380 in London.

Deputies found a dead man in a young citrus orchard to the northwest of the intersection, the sheriff’s office said. The violent crimes unit is investigating. No other details were initially available.
