Copper wire theft in Exeter leaves $10,400 worth of repairs

About $100 worth of copper wire was stolen from an agriculture irrigation pump in Exeter, leaving $10,400 worth of repairs, the Tulare Country Sheriff’s Office said Saturday.

On Feb. 13, deputies responded to 17300 block of Avenue 280 in Exeter at 9:20 a.m., regarding a theft of copper wire. Deputies discovered that an unknown subject forcibly removed the wires from multiple agriculture irrigation pumps.
