He grew angry after a crash so he allegedly pulled a gun. Then he handed it to victim
A driver who allegedly pulled a gun after a crash Saturday morning in southeast Fresno handed the gun over to the other party – and soon was arrested.
Sgt. John Romo described what happened:
David Terell Jackson, 26, and another driver collided in front of Sequoia Middle School, 4050 E. Hamilton Ave. The other driver called police to report that Jackson didn’t have proof of insurance. That’s when Jackson allegedly pulled the gun.
Family of the other driver arrived, and Jackson pointed the gun at them, too. Someone in the victim party told Jackson that police were on their way and it’d be best if he gave them the gun to conceal in their car. Jackson handed it over.
When police arrived, the victims handed over the gun and Jackson was arrested. The gun was stolen out of San Joaquin County, police said.
There were no reports of injuries.
