Hundreds of ID theft documents recovered from car burglary suspect
Detectives in northwest Fresno recovered a virtual treasure trove of stolen identity theft documents after arresting 25-year-old Randall Law Thursday, police reported.
A spokesman said detectives investigating a theft from a vehicle recovered the documents during a probation search of Law’s apartment. The evidence contained personal information from up to 200 victims and included Social Security cards, identification cards, checkbooks and credit cards. It is believed that Law used stolen identities to open credit accounts and make purchases.
