Suspect flees after stealing several hundred dollars from Madera inn
A robbery suspect fled a Hampton Inn and Suites in Madera on Sunday after stealing several hundred dollars, the Madera Police Department said.
The suspect hid his left hand inside his sweatshirt, indicating he had a gun, and demanded money from the inn’s night shift manager, police said.
The incident occurred about 12:45 a.m. at 3254 Airport Drive.
