Driver flees after hitting cyclist who was drunk

A drunk bicyclist was struck by a hit-and-run driver Saturday night in the Tower District, Fresno police said.

Lt. Mark Hudson said the crash happened at San Pablo and Olive avenues shortly before 10:30 p.m.

The cyclist was taken to Community Regional Medical Center for minor injuries. Hudson said the driver who hit him was driving a white RAV 4 sport-utility vehicle.
