Man commits suicide at Woodward Park
A 59-year-old man committed suicide Friday morning at Woodward park, near the entrance of Fort Washington and Friant roads, Fresno police said.
Fresno police said they responded around 8:41 a.m. after employees found a white man lying in a pool of blood with a semi-automatic gun beside him.
Authorities said the unidentified man shot himself in the head and was lying near a walkway. A key belonging to a gray Toyota Tacoma was found in his pocket, and they later found the vehicle parked across from the Art of Life Healing Garden in the park.
No other information was immediately available.
