Police: Two gang members arrested in stolen car in southwest Fresno
Two gang members at the wheel of a stolen car were arrested Tuesday in southwest Fresno, the Fresno Police Department’s auto theft team reported.
Sgt. Doug Goertzen identified the driver as Luis Villarreal, 47, and Tamar Santos, 33, both of Fresno.
Detectives spotted the 1996 Honda Accord being driven near Divisadero and North Broadway streets. The car was followed to South Teilman Avenue and West Whites Bridge Avenue, where the two were taken into custody. Both were booked on charges of felony auto theft.
