Two armed men forced way into Visalia home while five people were inside
Five people were victims of a home invasion robbery Thursday night, Visalia police said.
The robbers got away.
About 10:30 p.m., police were dispatched to a home in the 1700 block of West Houston Avenue and learned two men with handguns had forced their way in.
They put the family of five into a room and searched the home for money and marijuana, taking cash and other items when they left.
Police searched the area but did not find them.
The incident is probably drug-related, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 559-734-8117.
