Lemoore man gets 20 years for child pornography

A Lemoore man was sentenced to 20 years in prison Monday for the receipt and distribution of child pornography, acting U.S. attorney Phillip A. Talbert said.

Robert Wallace Smith, 39, was found guilty by a federal jury after a four-day trial in May. In December 2011, law enforcement found 388 videos and photos of child pornography on a laptop in Smith’s home, Talbert said.

Smith was sentenced to 20 years in prison to be followed by 20 years of supervised release.
