Miss Winkles Pet of the Week of Aug 1: Bebe

Bebe
Bebe

She’s our “blue-eyed-girl” and her name is Bebe. At about 8 years old, she’s considered one of our very special senior kitties and she knows how to make us give her just a bit of extra attention. She’s the kind of girl who knows how to play it cool by waiting for guests and volunteers and staff to get comfortable and sit down before she comes over to lay on a shoe or hand and purr. This is just to get us warmed up, however, and very soon she’s in our laps for a cuddle and some nose-to-nose kisses.

You do have to let this Domestic Medium Hair know you’re there, however, or she could spend the whole day lounging in a sun-spot by the door. Why? Well, Bebe is a bit special, and actually seems to be deaf. This doesn’t hinder her in the least, though, and she lives with other kitties just fine. Bebe mostly keeps to her special sun-spot in the room when she’s not busy getting loved-on, and is relatively low-key kind of gal. For a gentle companion to call your own, you couldn’t do better than Bebe!

Miss Winkles Pet Adoption Center is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday at 85 Temperance Ave. just south of Sierra Avenue. All adoptable pets have been spayed or neutered, are current on their vaccinations and microchipped.

Adoption fees are $25 for dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.

Note: the Pet of the Week may no longer be available after press time, but plenty of other adoptable pets are. Visit clovisanimalservices.org/miss-winkles for more information.
